2. About TASA

Thompson Appliance Service Academy is a professional appliance repair training school located at 290 Charlotte Rd, Rutherfordton, NC 28139. We offer a 3-week certification program for appliance repair technicians, a job board for the appliance repair industry, and a technician dispatch and service management platform.

3. Use of Our Website

You may use our Website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading information through our forms
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use our Website to distribute spam, malware, or other harmful content
• Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from our Website without permission
• Impersonate another person or entity

4. SMS/Text Message Terms

4.1 Consent

By providing your phone number through our Website forms, phone calls, or other means, and affirmatively consenting to receive text messages, you agree to receive SMS/MMS messages from Thompson Appliance Service Academy at the phone number you provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase, enrollment, or service.

4.2 Types of Messages

4.3 Message Frequency & Costs

Message frequency varies but typically does not exceed 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier plan. Contact your carrier for details.

4.4 Opting Out

To stop receiving text messages, reply STOP to any message from us. You will receive one final confirmation message. To resume, you may opt in again through our Website or by contacting us. For help, reply HELP or contact us at info@tasaedge.com.

4.5 Supported Carriers

Our SMS program is supported by all major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4.6 Privacy

Your phone number and messaging data are handled according to our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes.

5. Enrollment & Tuition

• Program cost: $4,000 tuition (lodging available at $50/night separately)
• Payment: Full payment is due before the program start date unless a payment plan has been arranged
• Refunds: Full refund if cancelled 30+ days before start. 50% refund if cancelled 14-29 days before start. No refund within 14 days of start date.
• Completion: TASA certification is awarded upon successful completion of all program requirements

6. Job Board

The TASA Job Board provides listings from two sources:

• Live listings — aggregated from public job boards (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, etc.) via search. We do not control the accuracy of these listings.
• Company-posted listings — submitted directly by service companies. We review listings before publishing but do not guarantee the accuracy of any posting.

We are not responsible for the hiring practices, working conditions, or terms of any employer listed on our job board.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Website — including text, graphics, logos, curriculum materials, and software — is the property of Thompson Appliance Service Academy or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Website and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thompson Appliance Service Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Website or services.
